METAL FAIRY - SERPENTINE FIBULA

Fibulae were used by Romans to hold their cloaks closed - like a giant decorated safety pin. You can use them same way today on a coat or sweater for decoration or to hold a knitted scarf closed.

This fibula uses pretty green serpentine, aquamarine and silver with a woven silver head pin.
