Everyone loves silver. We all wear it, we all think of it as precious yet accessible

Sterling silver is 92.5% silver, and 7.5% other metals, usually including copper. Sterling silver is malleable and soft until it is worked, and with continual working it becomes harder and more brittle. Fine silver is purer and softer, and takes longer to harden to a brittle state. I use sterling silver, although my pieces are not hallmarked as they are made from wire.
